MICK JAGGER FILMS NEW VIDEO FOR “VISIONS OF PARADISE”
DAVE MEYERS DIRECTED VISUAL SHOT IN LOS ANGELES

LOS ANGELES
- February 11, 2002 - Virgin Records superstar Mick Jagger recently completed shooting the video for the 2nd single from his album, Goddess In The Doorway. The album, which received a glowing “5 Star” review in Rolling Stone, features the equally shining “Visions Of Paradise” track, with its video recently shot by acclaimed film director Dave Meyers in Los Angeles. Meyers, whose most recent credits include videos for Janet Jackson, Missy “Misdemeanor” Elliot and Dave Matthews, uses a color-filled motif submerged in a Thoreau-like setting. Featuring appearances by Salvatore Xuereb (Natural Born Killers,” “Killing Zoe”), Jennifer Jimenez (“Blow”) and Vanissa Daria, the visual perfectly captures the song’s feel as it depicts a “normal man’s” utopian image of what paradise looks like.

“Visions…,” chosen from the album which was released November 20, 2001, follows a trilogy of notable events: the smash first single, “God Gave Me Everything”; a star studded album release event at Los Angeles’ El Rey Theatre; and ABC’s “Being Mick” special, which also aired on VH1. The single itself has enjoyed worldwide airplay, most notably on the AAA and Hot AC formats where it was the #3 and #4 most added record in the U.S., respectively.

Named as one of Rolling Stone magazine’s “People of the Year,” Mick has also produced “Enigma” through his production company, Jagged Films. Starring Kate Winslet and directed by Michael Apted, the film recalls the true story of a “code breaker” during World War II. Released in the U.K., “Enigma” was #1 during its opening weekend, and is set to open in America in April, 2002.
